NCR Acquires IDVelocity

DAYTON, Ohio - (04/11/06) -- NCR Corp. announced Monday it hasacquired the assets of IDVelocity, a privately held datawarehousing company in Greensboro, N.C. IDVelocity helps companiescollect, move and utilize data from millions of RFID mechanisms andAuto-ID transactions. The company's technology reduces the effortto create, deploy and support fixed and mobile solutions using allforms of RFID and other Auto-ID technologies. Terms of the dealwere not disclosed.
