NCUA Chairman JoAnn Johnson visited the Queen of Peace Arlington FCU as it hosted a "Train the Trainer" workshop conducted by the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions. Eighteen credit union staff members and volunteers from 12 credit unions of varying sizes from Virginia and the District of Columbia participated in the all-day training, which was designed to prepare credit unions to offer a financial education program for low-and moderate-income adults. The $850,000-member credit union serves 550 members.
