NCUA Charters New Faith-BasedCU

ALXANDRIA, Va. - (02/24/05) -- NCUA said Wednesday it has granted acharter for a low-income credit union in Bronx, N.Y., Love GospelAssembly FCU. The Love Gospel Assembly is a community based churchthat has been a leader in providing services to local residents,like a soup kitchen, legal services, a referrals to various housingand educational institutions. It is the third federal credit unionchartered so far this year.
