New CU Center Takes Flight

EAGAN, Minn. - (04/19/05) -- Wings Financial FCU opened its 18thbranch here Monday--a hangar-like structure that evokes theheritage of the aviation industry that is the $1.5 billion creditunion's market. The 5,300 square-foot building features abarrel-shaped ceiling and expansive glass across its front in theclassic shape of an airline hangar; while a minitiature controltower sits in the lobby. The facility will house a full-servicebranch and Wings Financial Advisors, the credit union's investmentadvisory service. Wings Financial was formerly known as NWA FCU andwas the first credit union to receive as TIP charter to serve theairline industry through the nation.
