The Philadelphiagoodies represented the payoff of a bet on last month's Super Bowl,in which the New England Patriots bested the Philadelphia Eagles."We appreciate the efforts of the Steelers and Eagles in providingthe opportunity for the Patriots to win their third Super Bowl infour years," said Dan Egan, president of the New England leagues,of the Patriots victories over first the Pittsburgh team, then thePhiladelphia team, to win football's national championship. Thethree leagues had bet a New England lobster bake if theylost.
