New Jersey credit union supporters will be able to display their credit union pride with a new state license plate designed in honor of the credit union movement. The plates will go into production once 500 people agree to display the plates on their vehicles, and will only be issued with the approval of the Credit Union Affiliates of New Jersey, which reserves the right to decline applicants if their credit union is not affiliated with the league. Bearing the national CU brand logo as well as the "People Helping People" slogan, the new plates will cost $25 per set. "Our state has more vehicles per mile than any other state in the nation. With that amount of people on our roadways, these license plates may be one of best ways of promoting the credit union movement," said Russell Clark, CUANJ CEO.
