New NCUA Board Member Joins HousingGroup

WASHINGTON - (12/07/05) -- NeighborWorks, a government fundeddeveloper of affordable housing projects, announced that new NCUABoard member Rodney Hood is joining its board of directors. Hoodwill serve on the six-member panel with representatives of theFDIC, Federal Reserve, Comptroller of the Currency, Office ofThrift Supervision and Department of Housing and Urban Development.Hood told The Credit Union Journal he sees organizations likeNeighborWorks as critical partners for credit unions in developingcommunity projects.
