New York Credit Unions Offered StrategicPlanning Assistance

LATHAM, N.Y. - (11/28/05) New York State Credit Union League isoffering credit unions in this state assistance in the strategicplanning process through a new relationship with Virtual CEOConsulting Group. Empire State credit unions are being offered adiscount on services through the firm, which focuses on executionand offers Internet assessment tools and other planning processes.William J. Mellin, president of the NYSCUL, said the league, aspart of its evaluation, also participated in the companysonline internal assessment process. The practice not onlychallenged our thinking and the status quo, it eliminated a lot ofguesswork, saving us valuable time in our planning process,Mellin said. The states credit unions will also haveavailable to them a comprehensive member feedbackprocess.
