ALEXANDRIA, Va. - (11/23/05) Cliff Northup, director of public andcongressional affairs with NCUA, said he will leave the position inJanuary. Northup joined NCUA in 2001. In 2001, I was lookingfor an opportunity to join the newly elected Bush Administration.My previous credit union trade association experience led me to theNational Credit Union Administration, Northrup said in areleased statement. He did not indicate what future plansare.
