PORTLAND, Ore. - (06/21/06) Northwest Corporate CUannounced Tuesday it has contracted with VSoft Corp. to provide its200 credit union members with the companys branch item andcheck image capture technology. Under the deal, Northwest Corporatewill implement VSofts eDesk Branch Item Capture, Genesis,Returns, and Adjustment solutions and will offer Branch ItemCapture to its credit union members in Oregon, Washington, Idaho,Alaska and California. The system allows checks to be imaged atbranches, then sent electronically to Northwest Corporatesoffice for processing. VSoft, based in Atlanta, recently signedsimilar deals with corporates in the Carolinas andVirginia.
