Partnership Offers Free TaxService

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - (01/12/05) -- Santa Cruz Community CU haspartnered with Project SCOUT to expand free income tax assistanceservices. The program aims to help low-income families eligible forthe Earned Income Tax Credit prepare their taxes. Under theprogram, volunteers helps seniors, disabled and non-Englishspeaking and low-income people fill out their tax forms. The freeprogram begins this month and is provided by the IRS.
