Pennsylvania CUs Join Anti-TaxBid

HARRISBURG, Pa. - (02/04/05) -- The Pennsylvania CU Association saidits credit union members have collected almost 80,000 membersignatures on a petition urging Congress to protect the creditunion tax exemption. American Heritage FCU collected the mostsignatures, almost 4,600. The petitions, along with those collectedin 39 other states, will be presented to Congress later this monthduring CUNA's annual lobbying pilgrimage at the trade group'sgovernment affairs conference.
