ROCKLAND, Mass. - (07/11/05) -- The son of the Rockland policechief, suspected in at least four local bank robberies over thepast two weeks, was caught Thursday crouching in the laundry roomof a Randolph apartment complex after leading police on ahigh-speed car chase from nearby Brockton. Kevin C. Donovan, 34, aconvicted bank robber and son of Rockland Police Chief Kevin M.Donovan, is a suspect in recent robberies at HarborOne CU, CrescentCU, and two area banks. The younger Donovan, who served more thanthree years in prison for bank robbery, worked as lead singer in alocal rock band and posed in handcuffs with two men appearing to belocal police officers in front of a police cruiser on the band'sweb site. The photos were removed from the site lastweek.
