President Of Dutch Point CU ToRetire

WETHERSFIELD, Ct. - (07/03/06) – Dorothy J. Sullivan, presidentof Dutch Point CU, will retire on July 31, after 43 years at thecredit union. Sullivan was the credit union’s first employeein 1960. The credit union was chartered in 1960 by the men’sclub of Hartford Electric Light Company and went from a‘one-girl office’ in Hartford to a $146-millioninstitution with multiple branches. Sullivan also representedConnecticut credit unions on both local and national levels,serving on the boards of the Constitution Corporate FCU,Connecticut CU Association, the League Insurance Agency, NewEngland CU Executives Society and the board for Consumer CreditCounseling.
