News Bites Offer Quick Punch

LAKE FOREST, Calif.-PSB, the Marketing Supersource, has launched a new newsletter product it calls "NewsBites," a three-tiered program it is calling a "1,2,3 punch." The first element of the program is a "quick-read" printed newsletter the size of a double-insert (3.5x8 when folded). The second element is an e-mailed newsletter with links to more detailed articles. And the third piece is a website-based newsletter with complete articles. Liberty Online Adds 400th Client

MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. and SAN ANTONIO-Just four years after starting operations, Liberty Online, a provider of website development and hosting services, reported it is now working with more than 400 credit union customers. USAA Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, was honored as Liberty Online's 400th customer. The $200-million USAA FCU will be employing Liberty Online's PromoBranch! website, which is designed to capture members' attention at the credit union's doorway and invites them-through promotional messages-inside, according to the company.

Corp. America, EPL Enter Deal

IRONDALE, Ala.-Corporate America Credit Union and EPL Data Services have entered into an asset purchase agreement whereby Corporate America Credit Union will purchase the assets of EPL's Item Processing division. "This transaction will work to the mutual benefit of Corporate America members and EPL customers," noted Thomas Bonds, President/CEO of Corporate America. "Corporate America and EPL share a common goal, to provide quality products and services to our members and customers.."

With the additional volume generated from this purchase, Corporate America will process approximately 3.5-million share drafts per month
