Colorado CUS, CSCU In Deal

ARVADA, Colo.-The Colorado Credit Union System has signed a membership agreement with Clearwater, Fla.-based Card Services For Credit Unions (CSCU). Under the agreement, CSCU will increase its membership base by 146 credit unions and 38,543 credit and debit accounts. These credit unions represent over 70% of CCUS's credit unions.

"CSCU offered us the best value-added solutions to meet our evolving credit and debit needs", said Lisa Spano, CCUS Consultant. "We were really excited about the Virtual Card Consultant, which will allow our members more control over their card portfolios. It will also allow us to monitor and help our credit unions." Virtual Card Consultant is portfolio analysis software, under which a suite of products if available.

Empire Launches CD Solutions

ALBANY, N.Y.-Empire Corporate and its wholly-owned broker-dealer CUSO, MemberTrade Financial Group, LLC, have launched CD Solutions, which the companies said is an investment product that simplifies the purchase and management of bank CDs."On a continuous basis, MemberTrade gathers CD rates offered by federally insured banks nationally," said Lee Ann Palladino, president of MemberTrade Financial Group. "MemberTrade then provides this information to credit unions based on screening criteria they select. Once authorized, we then place the CD with the issuing institution on the credit union's behalf. MemberTrade does not alter the terms or conditions of the bank CD-the credit union receives the full value offered by the participating bank."

Okla. CUL Says OK To TNB Cards
