Aimbridge Sells Biz To CUILA

DENVER-The Aimbridge Group said it will sell its automotive indirect lending business in Colorado and Wyoming to Credit Union Indirect Lending Association (CUILA, Inc.). CUILA, Inc. is a Colorado-based credit union service organization (CUSO) of more than 50 credit unions that offers indirect lending. CUILA will assume full responsibility for indirect lending operations and will continue to use The Aimbridge Group's technology so that credit unions can remain connected to dealers and perform complex credit risk evaluations until the sale is complete. According to Aimbridge CEO Steve Bentley, the agreement with CUILA gives The Aimbridge Group additional capital to fund its national expansion for all its product lines. Bentley said Aimbridge Indirect Lending will originate more than $1 billion of loans this year through its indirect lending operations in other markets even after the sale to CUILA.
