Collections CUSO Sees Growth

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-United Solutions, Inc. (USI), a CUSO offering collection and asset recovering services, said it experienced a significant increase in clients during 2003, during which it added 10 new credit unions. Among the new CUs: SCORE FCU, Florida Telco CU, 8 Flags FCU, South Florida FCU, Jackson County Teachers CU, Holmes Washington Teachers CU, Calhoun Liberty Employees CU, Orlando FCU, and two law firms. USI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tallahassee-based United Datatronics, Inc. VyStar Selects Decade Systems

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-Decade Systems Corp., a provider of mortgage solutions, has been chosen by $2.6-billion VyStar Credit Union to serve as its enterprise mortgage technology integration solution. Currently VyStar uses Decade's Total Enterprise Data Integration (TEDI) solution to import loan origination data from their Dynatek MORvision loan origination system (LOS) into their Aurum Technology MISER core processing system. TEDI enables the credit union to maximize their investment in technology by enabling complete connectivity and streamlined transfer of information between incongruent applications and databases.

More Than 1,000 Access Info

ALBANY, N.Y.-Since announcing it would offer free of charge credit union-specific information on the Check 21 legislation on Nov. 5, 2003, Empire Corporate FCU said more than 1,100 visitors have accessed the information online. The available materials at www.empirecorp.org include "A Check 21 Special Report" providing information applicable to all credit unions; A Question and Answer Consumer Pamphlet credit unions can download, customize and print to help address their members' concerns/questions regarding Check 21, and a special edition of Empire's member operationally-focused newsletter, Operational Insight, highlighting information specific to the corporate and its products and member relationships.
