InfiCorp Purchases 7 Portfolios

ATLANTA-InfiCorp Holdings, Inc. said it has purchased $33 million in credit union card portfolios from seven credit unions. The seven that have sold their cards to Inficorp, which is a subsidiary of First National Bank of Nebraska, are: Choice Community Credit Union, Greensboro, N.C.; Financial Resources Credit Union, Bridgewater, N.J.; Great American Credit Union, San Diego; Lone Star Credit Union, Dallas; Millbury Federal Credit Union, Millbury, Mass.; Northern Federal Credit Union, Watertown, N.Y, and South Western Federal Credit Union, La Habra, Calif.

Liberty Donates $100K To NCUF

WASHINGTON-Liberty Enterprises, which announced it was continuing its role as a corporate sponsor of the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF), has been honored for its commitment to the charitable arm of the credit union movement. Liberty CEO Stan Hollen accepted Liberty's award from the Foundation at the annual Herb Wegner Memorial Awards Dinner, one of the highlights of CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference.

Later Liberty presented the foundation with its $100,000 donation to assist the foundation in its mission to help consumers achieve financial independence through credit unions.

Triton Produces 100,000th ATM

LONG BEACH, Miss.-Triton said it has now manufactured its 100,000 ATM since production began in 1994. The company specializes in self-service devices. Triton's first cash-dispensing ATM, the Model 9500, pioneered the use of dial-up transmission technology that ignited the growth of ATMs in off-premise retail settings. "Today, off-premise ATMs are found in shopping malls, convenience stores, casinos, and even national parks. They now comprise more than half of the nation's ATM fleet, and Triton is the largest manufacturer of ATMs designed for this market," the company said.
