CORVALLIS, Ore.-brass-CU featured Tina Wells, 24 year old CEO of Buzz Marketing Group (BMG) on the cover of its August issue. Wells created BMG as a teenager to assist companies in reaching the teen demographic through peer-to-peer marketing. Corporate One Gets New Powers

COLUMBUS, Ohio-NCUA has approved Corporate One's application for Part I expanded investment authorities of the the agency's revised Part 704 Rules and Regulations for corporate credit unions. "The expanded investment authorities will allow Corporate One to manage its balance sheet more effectively, take on additional interest rate and credit risk when necessary, and continue to pay higher rates in the current low interest rate environment," the corporate said.

ImageSoft To Resell PolyServe

BEAVERTON, Ore.-The Fiserv Imagesoft unit of Fiserv, Inc., a provider of information-management systems, has reached an OEM agreement to resell and support clustering software from PolyServe, Inc. The first integrated product offering of the PolyServe Matrix Server software will be with the Fiserv Imagesoft Guardian Series platform, which automates the review of any and all elements on the face of a check image to validate for image quality and usability, as well as check fraud exceptions.

Ga. Central To Host Symposium

ATLANTA-Georgia Central will host a one-day Economic Symposium at the Crowne Plaza Revinia here on Sept 27. GCCU said the program will provide credit unions with information about the future economy to assist with 2005 strategic planning and budgeting. Dr. Donald Ratajczak, as leading econometric forecaster and Regents Professor Emeritus of Economics at Georgia State University, will be among the speakers, as will Steven W.
