Third Party Triple Des Solution

CINCINNATI-In a move that it says will give financial institutions an affordable alternative to more expensive products sold by ATM manufacturers, and further help financial institutions comply with forthcoming Triple Data Encryption Standards (Triple DES), The ATM Exchange today has released 3DESPlus XP, a Triple DES upgrade solution. "ATM Exchange has built and is marketing a new Windows-based Triple DES security solution that will operate independently on many existing ATMs," it said. "This innovation is the first of its kind-an all-encompassing Windows-based, Triple DES solution offered by an independent third party." The new security solution will be available first for NCR 5600, 5800 and 5305 ATMs, beginning in March with other ATM models to follow.
