'Debt Know How' Is Unveiled

PURCHASE, N.Y.-MasterCard International has launched "Debt Know How," a consumer-education campaign designed for Americans who need information on how to manage their debt. The Debt Know How program aims to empower and educate those in debt with free, easy-to-understand debt management tools, the card association said.

It includes an interactive section of the MasterCard website at,, which contains free, easy-to-use information, tips and resources for consumers; and a Debt Know How curriculum for educators and personal finance coaches to use with their students and customers.

Alaska USA FCU Selects Phoenix

ANCHORAGE, Alaska-Alaska USA FCU has selected Phoenix Interactive's VISTAatm terminal software for its ATM software replacement project. The London, Ontario-based Phoenix Interactive solution will be used across Alaska USA's entire network.

CUNA Mutual, ILT To Integrate

SALT LAKE CITY-Indirect Lending Technologies, L.L.C. (ILT) and CUNA Mutual Group have reached an agreement to integrate their two Internet-based systems.

ILT provides a system for managing indirect lending, including an automated underwriting system, Dealer Indirect Lending and Leasing System (DILLS). Lenders Protection, a joint venture between Open Lending, Inc. of Austin, Texas and CUNA Mutual, operates an online system that automates the approval and placement of default insurance on vehicle loans for its credit union clients.

"Integration of the two systems will enable a credit union to approve loans over a very broad spectrum of credit risk and to send an approval to the participating auto dealer through DILLS within a few minutes of receiving the application," according to Will McGregor, President of ILT.
