Reward Offered In ATM Heist

Community First CU is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of two robbers who broke through a wall in an adjacent dance club last week to break into the ATM at the credit union's branch. The break-in cut phone lines and caused physical damage, forcing the credit union to close the branch for three days. Surveillance cameras at the scene show the thieves and a large rental van in the parking lot, which police believe the robbers used to stage the break-in. Police believe the thieves are the same ones responsible for a series of similar robberies in the area.
