SAFCU, CU On-Line (28 CUs) Select XP

XP Systems, a business unit of Fiserv, Inc., said that its XP2 information management system has been selected by the $214-million Sperry Associates FCU in Garden City Park, N.Y. The choice of XP2 over its competitors reflects new credit union initiatives toward member relationship management, greater flexibility with service offerings, and the best in modern technologies, according to Jim Duffett, VP Business Development/IT for the credit union.

Separately, XP Systems said that following an extensive data processing review, Credit Union On-Line (CUOL), a credit union data processing center, has selected XP Systems to provide the XP2 information management system to CUOL clients. CUOL, a CUSO based in Waltham, Mass., manages data processing operations for 28 credit unions of all sizes representing $2.9 billion in total assets and 250,000 members.

"We identified 134 key features and functions and used them to measure the systems. Our current system only met 66% of that list, while XP2 met 96%, the highest match we found," said Connie Boretti, CEO of CUOL. CUOL will begin converting clients to the XP2 platform during fourth quarter 2005. Finally, Access Credit Union, Westchester, Ill., will replace its current system with the XP2 information management system.
