Someone Is Eating (Or Drinking) Better This Week

One of two league presidents will be among those who are paying off a bet on the Super Bowl this week.

Pennsylvania CU Association President Jim McCormack, who lost a bet on last year's Super Bowl when the Philadelphia Eagles were defeated, doubled up this year and wagered 50 pounds of Hershey's chocolate, made in nearby Hershey, Penn., on his state's Pittsburgh Steelers.

McCormack made the wager with John Annaloro, president of the Washington CU League, who bet a case of Riesling wine form Washington's wine country, that his team, the Seattle Seahawks, would win the Super Bowl.

With last year's loss, McCormack was required to pay Massachusetts/New Hampshire/Rhode Island league CEO Dan Eagan Philly Cheesestake sandwiches and Tasteycakes, after the New England Patriots won.
