SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - (06/22/06) Fast-growing Sunmark FCU isplanning to vacate its long-time home in the downtownsBroadway Center for new digs on Route 7 on the citysoutskirts, the $420 million credit union announced Wednesday. Thethree-story, 58,000 square-foot project is scheduled for partialoccupancy in early 2008, when 125 of the credit unionsemployees are expected to move in. Another 175 workers will followover the next five years. The new building, located across fromAirport Park, is owned by British American Realty, which will leasethe space to the credit union. Sunmark will occupy aboutthree-quarters of the building.
