Cavion Plus Adds Updates Option

MOUNDS VIEW, Minn.-Credit union members can now receive real-time updates on their transactions, accounts, even their personal schedules through Account Alerts, an add-on function to the Cavion Plus Internet banking platform. The product offers users the ability to receive real-time alerts when user-defined account conditions have been met. The alerts are delivered through e-mail, text messaging, and/or Cavion Plus' secure messaging platform within Internet banking. Account Alerts has four categories of notifications: account thresholds, transactions, check status, and reminders.

Symitar Clients Making Moves

MONETT, Mo.-Since entering the data processing outsourcing business for credit unions on June 1, 2003, Jack Henry & Associates subsidiary Symitar has converted seven credit unions, with an additional 12 scheduled during the remainder of the 2004 calendar year. Symitar offers its Episys product from the OutLink Data Center in Lenexa, Kan. and its Cruise product from the OutLink Data Center in Charlotte, N.C.

Twin County CU Selects COWWW

SPARTA, Mich.-COWWW Software, a provider of Web-based archiving, retrieval, and document distribution solutions, said that the $464-million Twin County Credit Union, Olympia, Wash., will implement its COLD and Imaging system. Two Renew Contracts With EPL

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C.-Brookland FCU has renewed its contract with EPL for its browser-based product, i-POWER. "Our credit union is only five years old and EPL has been there with us from the beginning," said BFCU CEO Rosalyn Glenn of the Birmingham, Ala.-based company. Separately, EPL reported that it has renewed the contract to serve Birmingham Federal Employees FCU. The credit union also purchased the upgrade of i-POWER.

Four FTA Members To Exhibit

SAN DIEGO-The Financial Technology Alliance (FTA), a multi-vendor technology resource for credit unions, said that four of its member companies will exhibit at the upcoming Symitar user conference here August 31-Sept. 3. The four companies are Bluepoint Solutions, a provider of document management; Cybernet Manufacturing, a maker of space-saving PCs; Passageways LLC, creator of a corporate portal solution; and ZDI, a pioneer in the e-statement business.

70-Plus Pick CuServ Evolution

ATLANTA-Harland Financial Solutions said that 70 customers have signed up for the new Windows-based CuServ Evolution release of its in-house data processing system for credit unions. Implementation of these credit unions to the new system is currently underway. "The CuServ in-house data processing system is a cost-effective, turnkey hardware and software solution designed for smaller credit unions," the company said. "The rollout of CuServ Evolution features a new Windows-based teller platform that includes item processing for share drafts, loans, deposits, payroll, and an integrated general ledger.

A robust report writer and image ID capability is also available, along with optional features for Internet banking, telephone banking, credit bureau reporting and workflow management.

Telesis Selects IntegraSys

FRISCO, Texas-IntegraSys, a business unit of Fiserv, Inc., has signed on Telesis Community Credit Union, a $450-million California credit union with more than 32,000 members to use the firm's CUBE in-house core-processing solution to manage the CU's day-to-day operations. OSI Releases New Version Of cView

GLASTONBURY, Conn.-Open Solutions Inc., a provider of integrated enabling technologies for financial institutions, announced the release of version 1.10 of cView, its advanced suite of relationship management and business intelligence tools.

The cView suite is pre-integrated with Open Solutions' relational core processing platform but can also be used with other vendor's processing platforms.
