ALEXANDRIA, Va. - (04/14/05) -- NCUA said this week it has granted aTIP charter to HealthNET FCU, a $32 million Memphis credit union,to serve anyone working in the health care industry in anine-county region sprawled across Tennessee, Mississippi andArkansas, and is the sixth TIP granted by NCUA for the health areindustry. The TIP, which allows a credit union to serve an entiretrade, industry or profession in a defined area, is the sixthgranted by NCUA for the health care industry. NCUA granted two TIPslast month, including one allowing Georgia Power FCU to serveanyone in the power generating industry in 11 southernstates.
