NCR's Teradata unit has acquired DecisionPoint Software, a provider of integrated data software for financial management. DecisionPoint's systems capture and move continuously changing data from the financial source systems into a data warehouse, automatically configuring the analytic environment as needed.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Teradata and DecisionPoint have been working for two years on a system that integrates data from financial and non-financial sources in near real-time and gives users faster access to detailed information for more active analysis.
