TAUNTON, Mass. - (01/16/06) A team of robbers used ahigh-powered saw to cut through the roof of a grocery store earlyFriday morning, then cut open the Crescent CU ATM and emptied ofcash. Police received an alarm at the Tedeschi Food Store around12:45 am Friday and surrounded the building only to find metalshavings and the smell of burning metal. The Fire Department wascalled to the scene to get on the roof where they found they founda hole cut by the robbers, who apparently lowered themselves insidethe building. The robbers cut open the back of the ATM and stoleall of the cash inside.
