This Robbery Hardly Pays

DENVER - (04/26/06) – A Loveland man faces up to 25years behind bars after he pleaded guilty in federal court Mondayto robbing $380 from Norlarco FCU using a bomb threat. GlennCarbera entered the credit union and told tellers he had a bomb,then fled with the small amount of cash. Police released severalsurveillance photos of the robbery and Carbrera was arrested twoweeks later. He was initially charged in state court with robberyand a weapons hoax, but those charges were dismissed and he pleadedguilty to armed robbery in federal court. He is scheduled to besentenced on Aug. 8.
