Three Charged In ATMBreak-Ins

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - (08/02/05) -- Three men were arrested Sunday nightand charged with a series of burglaries at area credit union ATMsas they tried to break in to the money machine at Coastline FCU.Police had identified a pattern and were waiting for the burglars.The three, identified as Lavaris Johnson, 20, Albert Lawson, 25,and Ricky Stephens, 19, are believed to have hit seven differentATMs over the past six weeks. A fourth suspect, identified as TerryGreen, got away. The string began when the group broke into the ATMat Jax Navy FCU on June 18, police said.
