ROCHESTER, N.Y. - (08/15/05) -- The likeness of a man who allegedlyshot to death one of the members of Xerox FCU and injured anotherduring a robbery at the credit union's Webster branch two years agois posted all over the city on billboards and fliers, but the trailfor the credit union assailant has hit a dead end. The killer'sface, gleaned from surveillance videos at the credit union, and thepromise for a $65,000 reward, has been posted on a dozen billboardsaround the county, but the trail appears to have run cold,according to police. The case was even featured on nationaltelevision on 'America's Most Wanted.' Police say investigatorshave followed up on 834 leads in more than 12 states and Canada.The assailant was wearing clothing that resembled that of lawenforcement officials, including a Navy blue jacket that had yellow'FBI' written across the front and what resembled a U.S. marshal'sbadge.
