VACAVILLE, Calif. – Travis CU said it will be awarding 20, $1,000 college scholarships this year.
Students who live in Travis CU’s 12-county service region and are not yet members may join the credit union and apply for a scholarship at the same time.
The credit union’s board established the scholarship program in 2004 and named it the Mary Keith Duff Memorial Scholarship Fund in honor of a longtime board member, who passed away in December 2004.
The top five banks and thrifts have combined total assets of nearly $13 trillion.
