Tropical Financial CU Moves to Center OfFOM

MIRAMAR, Fla. - (01/04/05 -- Fast-growing Tropical Financial CUsaid it moved its headquarters from Miami to Miramar to beingcloser to its membership base and branch network as it expandsthrough south Florida. The $650 million credit union, southFlorida's third-largest, will maintain a branch at its formerheadquarters, where it has been since the late 1970's. The creditunion also plans to open a new branch, its 21st, later this month,in Miramar. The credit union has a community charter to serveMiami-Dade, Broward and Palm Bach counties.
