US Biometrics Is Named Best Of Show By CTC

US Biometrics, a biometric technology software company based in Naperville, Ill., received the Best of Show Award from the CUNA Technology Council during the 2003 Bank Administration Institute (BAI) Retail Delivery Conference and Expo in New Orleans. The company was chosen from among the more than 400 vendors' showcased products available to the banking industry. The Best of Show Award recognizes a company at the BAI's Retail Delivery Conference that has shown extraordinary commitment to providing products designed to enhance credit union technology, and appeal to a wide range of credit unions and their needs, while maintaining an affordable price point.

CTC executive committee member Dan Kinne, VP-information technology for Silver State Schools CU in Las Vegas, said the company was chosen for its CheckQ, a biometric technology software, a fingerprint recognition system that reads current or potential members' fingerprints and compares them to the financial industry's only national shared database.
