When patches that affect criticalinfrastructure are released by vendors to mitigate vulnerabilities,often risks associated with the rapid deployment of patchesactually outweighs the potential risk of exploit by the perceivedthreats. Blue Lane Technologies is based in Cupertino,Calif.
