CUNA Councils Publish 2 Papers

MADISON, Wis.-Two of the CUNA Councils are offering new white papers. MSU FCU Named To 10 Best

EAST LANSING, Mich.-MSU FCU has been named one of the 2003 winners of The Principle 10 Best Companies for Employee Financial Security. Sponsored by the Principal Financial Group, the award recognizes "growing companies that excel, particularly through employee benefits, at contributing to their employee's financial futures and sense of financial security."

Employees, Members Raise $20K

TAMPA, Fla.-Employees and members contributed more than $20,000 to the Credit Union Political Action Committee (CUPAC) during a 30-day campaign. Employees staged raffles, held bake sales, sold chocolate bars, held putting contest and wore jeans to work as means of raising the funds. The funds will go to the Florida league's PAC.

Staatz New CEO At SECU-Maryland

BALTIMORE-The $1.36-billion State Employees CU here has named Rodney Staatz as its new CEO. Staatz was most recently president of University of Wisconsin CU, Madison, Wis., and has held other positions with institutions in Washington, California, and Colorado (Bellco First FCU). The credit union has 240,000 members.
