Registration Open For Discovery

MADISON, Wis.-Online registration is open for CUNA Mutual Group's Discovery Conference 2004: "Experience the Power." The 9th annual Discovery Conference will be in San Diego, June 9-12, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Attendees signing up before April 2 will receive a discounted registration rate of $800, with further discounts available when three or more attend from one credit union or organization. Rates increase to $950 after April 2.

CommunityAmerica Pays Bonus

LENEXA, Kan.-For the eighth straight year, Community America CU distributed an Ownership Participation Dividend to its members. The CU distributed $598,998 among members' savings account, paid according to the amount of interest paid and earned on accounts. More than 47,000 of CACU's 126,000 members received a portion of the dividend.

MAC To Host 2 Workshops

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.-The Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) will present two workshops featuring the successes of high-performing credit unions on March 10 at the California/Nevada league office in Rancho Cucamonga and March 17 at the Walnut Creek Marriott. Fees for MAC members are $99 before March 1 for Rancho Cucamonga and March 8 for Walnut Creek and $125 after March 1 and March 8 respectively. CUES Elected To Honor Roll

MADISON, Wis.-The Credit Union Executives Society has been elected to the 2004 Associations Advance America Honor Roll, a national awards competition sponsored by the American Society of Association Executives. CUES received the award for CEO Institute, an advanced academic and leadership experience designed specifically for senior executives that is held at three business schools.
