MIAMI - (06/02/04) -- A thief was forced to leave behindan $11,0000 plasma TV at Broward Schools CU last week after policearrived to foil the burglary. Shawn McMillan, 31, of Hollywood, wasarrested nearby after hopping a fence behind the credit union whenhe saw a police cruiser pull up at the credit union. McMillan toldpolice he was let in by a member of the maintenance crew andunhooked the 60-inch NEC TV on the second floor and starteddownstairs as police arrived at the scene.
