Wrong Photo Used In Mix-Up

Police are apologizing for using the wrong photo for the right idea to publicize what they thought was a thief using another person's ATM card to withdraw $200. The photos, which appeared in local papers, were of a regular customer making a routine transaction, not of the real thief stealing the money. Police said the First National Bank made an error when it picked out the photo. The real customer, who was vacationing in Florida, called police after friends contacted her.
