First Michigan Bank Grand Rapids has named Michael H. Price as president and chief executive officer.

He succeeded Jerry Johnson, 50, who resigned.

Word of the change came shortly after Huntington Bancshares of Columbus, Ohio, an-nounced that it had a deal to buy the bank's parent, Holland-based First Michigan Bank Corp.

Mr. Price, 40, became First Michigan Bank Corp.'s vice president of sales last year. From 1992 until then he had been senior vice president and senior lending officer at First Michigan Grand Rapids.
