3 Joining NationsBanc Montgomery Venture Group

NationsBanc Montgomery said it hired three executives for its venture capital group, NationsBanc Montgomery LLC.

Andrew Sessions rejoins Montgomery as a senior managing director from the venture capital group Technology Crossover Ventures, where he was a general partner. Before that, he was in Montgomery's technology group. He will work in health care and technology.

Robert Coburn joins Montgomery as a principal from the investment banking group at J.P. Morgan & Co., where he advised leveraged buyout firms on mergers and acquisitions.

James B. Hunter joins Montgomery as a principal from the financial sponsors group at J.P. Morgan, where he was a vice president.

Mr. Sessions will be based in San Francisco. Mr. Hunter and Mr. Coburn will work on M&A out of New York. All three will report to Thomas Bunn in Charlotte and Derek Lemke in San Francisco.
