SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Andersen Consulting has announced it will make Biztro Inc., a developer of small-business software that can be downloaded from the Internet, a preferred provider to its small-business clients.
AC Ventures, the venture capital unit of Andersen Consulting in Palo Alto, Calif., has taken a minority equity stake in the third round of venture capital funding for Biztro, the company announced.
Bank of America Corp. announced this month that it had led the $33.9 million third round of venture capital financing for Biztro. The banking company has also licensed Biztro's small-business products.
