B of A Creates Asia-Pacific Exec Panel

Bank of America Corp. has formed an Asia-Pacific executive committee to integrate operations and supervise workers, according to an internal announcement.

The committee will consist of regional business and function managers, according to a memo from Kim Hong, B of A's Asia-Pacific president.

The Charlotte company also named eight country heads, including Paul Masi for Australia, Erh Fei Liu for China and Fred Chin for Hong Kong and Taiwan, the memo said. Mark Tsang, a B of A spokesman based in Hong Kong, declined to comment.

The country heads include employees who joined Bank of America through its acquisition of Merrill Lynch, according to the memo.

Bank of America made some changes to its European operations March 14.
