Bank of the West Names Executive

WEST

Bank of the West, a subsidiary of BancWest Corp. of Honolulu, has promoted assistant vice presidents in five West Coast branches to vice president and branch manager.

Donna K. Muffley has run the West Linn, Ore., branch of Bank of the West since last year, when it was still operated under BancWest's Pacific One Bank charter. Earlier she was a vice president and sales manager at U.S. Bank.

Brenda Bensel is the bank's Pendleton, Ore., branch manager, a post she also had held at Pacific One.

Chris L. Montano is the Sunnyside, Wash., branch manager for Pacific One Bank. He joined Pacific One last year from U.S. Bank, where he was a small- business banking officer.

Jeff L. Bassill is manager of the Fig Tree branch in Fresno, Calif. Before he was hired as assistant vice president of the branch three years ago, Mr. Bassill was an administration loan officer at Bank of Stockdale. Earlier, he had worked a year at Glendale Federal Bank as consumer loan credit card systems manager.

Shawn Mazzanti is the Lodi, Calif., branch manager. He has worked 19 years at Bank of the West, previously as customer service manager in the Lodi and Stockton branches and as a financial services officer.
