BankAmerica sells Security Pacific units.

SAN FRANCISCO -- BankAmerica Corp. completed the sale last week of a major block of Security Pacific Corp. branches.

KeyCorp of Albany, N.Y., said it acquired 48 former offices of Security Pacific Bank Washington, with $1.3 billion in assets and $715 million in loans. They became branches of Key Bank of Washington, effective last Friday.

KeyCorp also added four business banking centers and a private banking center.

West One Bancorp of Boise, Idaho, which bid jointly with KeyCorp, added 38 Washington branches, three business banking centers, two private banking centers, an auto financing center, and a corporate banking center. The branches have $1.1 billion in deposits and $800 million in loans.
