BankAtlantic Hires 2 Execs To Be Division Presidents

BankAtlantic Bancorp, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., hired Arthur L. Bigelow to be president of its Broward County division and Douglas K. Manske to be president of its Palm Beach County division.

Mr. Bigelow and Mr. Manske are responsible for developing relationships with small businesses, as well as with civic, charitable, and community organizations in their counties. They join Mario Luis del Valle, who was named president of the Miami-Dade division in June.

All three presidents report to Steven D. Hickman, executive vice president of BankAtlantic's community banking division.

Mr. Bigelow was senior vice president of commercial real estate lending at Barnett Bank in Fort Lauderdale and had been a commercial lender at Barnett since 1985. Before that he had been vice president of mortgage banking at Feist & Feist Inc., Fort Lauderdale, and vice president at Chevy Chase Savings and Loan, Boca Raton, Fla.

Mr. Manske was president and chief executive officer of IBM Southeast Employee Federal Credit Union, Boca Raton. From 1984 to 1988 he was president and CEO of Jupiter Mortgage Corp., Jupiter, Fla.
