JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Barnett Bank Inc. said it would offer credit card interest rates of 13.4% and 15.9% to customers in good standing.

The rates will be move with the prime rate, the company said.

Customers will have a choice of keeping fixed rates of 18% and 16.5% for "classic" and gold cards, respectively, or signing up for an adjustable rate.

Classic-card customers who have had their accounts for at least one year, and have made at least $1,000 in purchases with their cards during the past 12 months, will be invited to select prime plus 9.9% as their interest rate.

Rates will be set monthly.

Gold-card customers who have had their accounts for at least a year and have made $3,000 in purchases with their cards during the past 12 months can qualify for a rate of prime plus 7.4%.

Both Gold and Classic card customers must have no record of delinquency for at least the past year.
