BB&T Corp. said Thursday that it has deals for two Georgia insurance agencies, Ingram-McDaniel & Associates and Macon Insurance Associates.
The deals for Ingram-McDaniel of Thomaston and Macon Insurance of Macon were announced three days after the $40.8 billion-asset banking company said it was buying Kay & Co., an insurance agency in Lumberton, N.C. Terms were not disclosed.
Charles McDaniel will remain president of the Georgia agencies, which were independent companies but had some common owners, said Wade Reece, the president of BB&T Insurance Services Inc.
